If people have trouble making friends in PvE then they need more social skills. Forcing others to suffer because you cannot find a good alliance or guild is not our fault.

As for PvP Heros let people who normally would not be able to play to do so. If you cannot beat a group of AI then what makes you think that you could beat a group of humans running the same style of build?

GW does Not need heroes. Heroes are a waste of space. What we needed was better henchie AI and maybe the abilty of changing their skills. Im sorry, but if you cant change your build or spare some time to deal with with poorly designed groups well.... I have many of missions and quests (including Titans) done with poorly balanced groups and oddball builds. Also what about the people that dont want to buy NF? What do they find in later missions and quests? Nobody exept hero whorshiping people that refuse to group with another person.

Anet already took action before this by putting a cap on the amount of heroes you could take forcing you to find a partner if you wanted Heroes and players and no henchies.

My guild often has done Hero + player teams and it has worked out.

It's fine the way it is leave it!

I've learned something about multiplayer, actauly a few things.

>>Two people in the same room on LAN is 580x more fun then a PuG. (Heroes make this more possible)

>>The best team of random people you don't know, is a team of people RANDOMLY selected. (I think we need more RA/Aspenwood/Quarry style missions in PvP) [Heroes don't affect this]

>>Its better to try something with two level1's from your guild than it is to try with a level20 PuG. (Heroes make this more possible too) [If you DONT agree with this then go join a guild that doesn't publicly recruit in towns]

The only place I'd agree with the removal of heroes, is alliance battles.

Heroes are ok but what we really need is the improved cross-district party creation system that was promised some time ago.
Finding the whole full team of players with all needed professions wont be guarenteed but that's what heroes should be for - filling the last spots.
I hope the xmas update will bring the multiplayer back to the online game.

And for using wrong skills we got now a simple but excellent tool in ctrl-clicking the skillbar to display your setup to the party quick.
